Some of you may have received a doorhanger on your door regarding sanitary sewer line cleaning that will be performed starting this week by Highlands at Mayfield Ranch Municipal Utility District (the “MUD”). To confirm, some doorhangers were distributed with incorrect dates relating to the anticipated services. The MUD is working with the contractor to get corrected doorhangers distributed to affected residents as soon as possible.
The work is routine maintenance that is required periodically by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. The MUD has undertaken similar maintenance in the District on numerous occasions to ensure compliance with applicable state law.
The contractor performing the work, Clean View, will leave a doorhanger at homes in affected areas with detailed dates of the cleaning for each street. If you receive a doorhanger, please delay high water usage activities like laundry or using the dishwasher until the evening on the days the contractor is working in your street. It is anticipated that the work on each street will take place over the course of 1-4 days. Please refer to the doorhangers received for guidance on precautionary measures relating to the work undertaken by the contractor.
The MUD will continue to provide status updates as the work progresses. If you have any questions, please contact the MUD Engineer, Meagan Norris, at 512-441-9493 or[email protected].
